When the 1-to-10 Scale Becomes a 5-to-20: A Promise to Those Who Fall Through the Cracks

Today was a hard day.

My wife spent the day in surgery.

She had a 7mm kidney stone that needed to be busted. They had to put a stent in.

If you’ve ever had a kidney stone, you know that pain is a monster.

But for my wife, that monster is twice as big.

She lives with Central Sensitivity Syndrome, or CSS.

In the medical world, they call it a “sensitization” of the nervous system.

In our world, I call it the Multiplier.

The Pain Multiplier

Most people understand a pain scale of 1 to 10.

A 1 is a dull ache. A 10 is the worst pain imaginable.

But CSS changes the math.

CSS is a condition where the brain and the spinal cord act like a broken volume knob.

The signals coming from the body are amplified. They are distorted. They are loud.

On a scale of 1 to 10, CSS turns a 1 into a 5.

It turns a 10 into a 20.

When my wife is in pain, she isn’t just hurting. She is experiencing a level of sensory overload that most people — and most doctors — cannot even fathom.

It is a physical reality that exists outside the “standard” medical experience.

And because of that, the system often fails her.

The Invisible Wall

Doctors today do not listen.

I say that as a former Navy Corpsman. I say that as a product architect. I say that as a husband.

They don’t listen because CSS isn’t something they can see on a standard X-ray.

It doesn’t show up in a basic blood panel.

The medical system is afraid of what it cannot see.

I know this fear well.

I live with a disorder called panhypopituitarism.

My pituitary gland — the master gland of the body — does not work.

It affects my hormones, my energy, my metabolism, and my focus.

But to a doctor looking at a chart, I might look “fine.”

Because I look fine, they assume I am fine.

They ignore the nuance. They ignore the data the patient is providing. They ignore the human being sitting in the chair.

They build a wall. An invisible wall.

If a problem doesn’t fit into a tidy box, they treat it like it doesn’t exist.

They are afraid to be wrong, so they choose to be deaf.

Why Big Blue Brain Exists

I didn’t start Big Blue Brain to be “just another supplement company.”

The world has enough of those.

I started this company because I am tired of seeing people fall through the cracks.

I am tired of the “invisible” ones being told their pain isn’t real.

I am tired of high-performers and chronic patients alike being given quick-fix stimulants instead of cellular foundations.

We are architects of neural performance.

We don’t look for shortcuts. We look for logic.

We look for the metabolic levers that actually move the needle for someone whose system is “high alert” or “low battery.”

Every product we formulate is built for the person who needs more than a “maybe.”

Every ingredient is chosen for its ability to support the mitochondria — the engines of the cell.

Every claim we make is backed by the radical transparency that the medical industry is currently missing.

A Promise to the Forgotten

If you have been told your pain is “in your head,” we listen.

If you have been told your fatigue is just “part of getting older,” we care.

If you are a biohacker looking for the edge, or a patient looking for a floor to stand on, we work for you.

Big Blue Brain is more than a bottle of Methylene Blue.

It is a protocol. It is a system. It is a promise.

We are in the middle of a Reg CF Crowdfund right now.

I have investors looking at our brand every single day.

They see the numbers. They see the growth. They see the clinical potential of what we are doing.

But I want them to see this, too:

We are building an ecosystem for the people the system abandoned.

We are building a source of truth in a noisy, confusing market.

We will do everything we can to help those who fall through the cracks.

We will never be afraid of the “unseen” disorders.

We will never stop refining human potential.

Hope is our Promise.

Human Potential is our Purpose.

Wake up the Big Blue Brain.
